The reason why I reblogged it is because there are some men, not ALL men who feel entitled to women. Feel we are suppose to answer to their cat calls and other shit. I know a lot of good men. My brother, my best friend Erik, countless other men I call friend, my uncles, my cousins. Don’t make this about black women hating black men, because that’s not what the original post stood for. It was man calling out other men on their bullshit.

I never once said I hate men or black men if you want to get specific, I dislike the men in my life who have done fucked up shit to me…but I also love the men in my life who treated me with respect. These are black, brown, white men.

There is notion that as a woman I want better for myself, I hate men. Hell no, I love the hell out of men…I love them so much I expect men to know better.

no MOST men do feel entitled to women and its as simple as men feeling that women should have certain body types (big breasts, small waist, big butt OR small butt, small waist, medium breasts, whatever ur “preference” is) and when men value women who are more aesthetically appealing to them and have NO value for women who arent.

the original post was about how women are seen as people who are second-class and something that men are entitled to. misogyny comes from “nice guys” too. it can also come from guys with good intentions. its been built into our society as “normal” but its WRONG and most people dont even know its wrong.
