If you did, you would have been done complaining about the same 5 songs playing on the radio. You would have been turned off the radio b/c that shit’s never going to change. We’ve been done crying about that shit.

If you think hip hop is dying/ dead like Nas stated, then you don’t know hip hop.

Hip hop is still alive and thriving, right back where it should be, out of the public eye.

At this point hip hop could even be at another high point, considering that true hip hop is social commentary expressed through “poetry and instrumental”…. no time better than the present to make social commentary about a fuck up society.

Hip hop is loved, right back at home in the underground scene, uncorrupted by the public eye that ONLY wants to hear weak “macho” men talk about gunplay, pussy and weed. THAT is rap. Hip hop is that and more. Hip hop is artistry. Radio creates minstrels.
